Forrester in Mernda

Our project in Mernda with Burbank

Roof is on

Today we drove to the build and we saw that the roof is now on. Its not finished yet and there were some workmen working and so we did not take many photos.

Also we noticed that the developer has built a footbridge over the creek that connects Aleman Green and Vasari Gardens. This footbridge will become handy especially when going to the local park which is on the Vasari Gardens side.

First floor wrapped

Its a cold and wet Anzac Day but we have managed to get to Mernda to see what has taken place in the last two days.

Basically in the last two days they have managed to wrap the first in preparation for the bricklaying. Also there has been a new supply of bricks supplied.

It’s getting dark early these days and so its very hard to get pictures during the week and so this holiday was handy. Here are the latest photos:

Scaffold up, fascia/gutter completed

The last week has seen the whole house transformed by the scaffolding around it.
With the scaffolding in place, the fascia/gutter stage has also been completed and we can now look forward to the long awaited roof.

Ground floor bricks finished

The ground floor brick laying is now marked as finished in My Place.

The bricklayers went as high as they could and so which means the first floor will not take as long.

Also for the first time we can see the contrast bricks in action.

Bricklaying continues

Its Good Friday today and the bricklaying is continuing on the ground floor.

We were very keen to see the contrast brick but this has not been done yet. We expect the ground floor bricklaying to finish by the end of the week and so here are some photos:
